He's all fingers and thumbs
Emerging artist, and celebrity favourite, Matt Wood has a unique and exciting talent...he paints with his thumbs.

This is not finger painting as you would imagine, this is far more advanced. Matts unique technique means he can create photo-realistic paintings with just a foamexboard and some Duluxtrade paint.

To date Matt has been commissioned to produce images for a number of celebrities including Chris Martin from Coldplay and Louise Redknapp who asked for a painting of her son.
Matt has never formally studied art, but has always been interested in producing images and art work that would reflect his passion for sport, music and film.

Matt first realised his talent when he noticed how bare the walls of his first year halls of residence bedroom were, and he didnt really like any of the posters on offer.

His father works for a sign business, so Matt used materials that his father had at home to create his first few pieces of artwork.
Recently Mattcompleted a piece for Louise Redknapp, wife of talented ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp, of their son Charlie.
Louise Redknapp commented: Matt has a real talent that is so unique. The picture of Charlie he has created is truly brilliant, and will have pride of place in our family home.
With his thumb print as his signature and such a unique talent, it is well worth snapping up a limited edition print before they all sell out!
